Rikki was such a chill bride, who wanted to trust that she could focus on her wedding day, while her team worked together to give her exactly as she'd dreamed! She didn't have many requests & the ones she did have were to keep things simple. Her mother-in-law had THE eye for planning & decorating & I'm still surprised she doesn't do this for a living! As I was photographing each detail, I was captivated by how much thought & love went into every piece. Being a wedding photographer, I'm prepared to photograph your day - in any light setting - but I was thankful that the lighting was absolutely perfect on their wedding day. They were tucked away, in mid-day harsh light, amongst the shade of the trees, which allowed an ideal setting for their portraits. From the typed out scripture to the feet washing after the ceremony, I was touched with every click of my shutter.
